The Indy Folk
Series is a non-profit venture presenting
selected acoustic music in a comfortable,
coffeehouse setting. The series showcases
local performers and touring artists playing
folk, bluegrass, Celtic and other styles.
Indy Folk Series
concerts are held at the Unitarian
Universalist Church of Indianapolis
(UUI), located just south of Butler
University at 615 West 43rd

In addition to concerts
featuring well-known local, regional and
national artists, the Indy Folk Series includes
Open Mic Nights, which allow performers
to try out material in front of an appreciative
audience.
Candles on the tables
harken back to coffeehouses of the 1970s.
First-rate acoustics and a friendly atmosphere
put artists and audience at ease. Refreshments
include coffee, wine and a tempting array
of snacks.
