The Indy Folk Series is a non-profit venture presenting selected acoustic music in a comfortable, coffeehouse setting. The series showcases local performers and touring artists playing folk, bluegrass, Celtic and other styles.

Indy Folk Series concerts are held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis (UUI), located just south of Butler University at 615 West 43rd Street. View map.

UUI sponsors the series along with Circle Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (CUUF), 1818 West 57th Street. View map.

In addition to concerts featuring well-known local, regional and national artists, the Indy Folk Series includes Open Mic Nights, which allow performers to try out material in front of an appreciative audience.

Candles on the tables harken back to coffeehouses of the 1970s. First-rate acoustics and a friendly atmosphere put artists and audience at ease. Refreshments include coffee, wine and a tempting array of snacks.

The Indy Folk Series is grateful for the support of music lovers, artists and sponsors.
